Code of Ethics

 

     As a free-lance translator, I fully abide by the code of ethics of professional groups such as the Société Française des Traducteurs (SFT) or the Association des Traducteurs Littéraires de France (ATLF).

 

     In short, I commit to:


- honor the trust of my clients.

- treat as confidential any document given to me by the client.

- translate as faithfully as possible.

How to proceed:

  1. You contact me; I analyze your project and send you a free quote.
  2. You return the quote with the words "Bon pour accord" and send me the complete document (paper or digital format).
  3. I will proceed with the translation and get in touch with you, should any question arise.
  4. I proofread the translation and send it to you.
  5. You have a week to ask for corrections.
  6. Payment is due 30 days after the date of the invoice.
